We  are exploring how we change shapes.

We know we can move them to make patterns.

We can put them together to make new shapes, patterns and pictures.

We can find symmetry in shapes.

We can  make mosaics and tessellations 

so that shapes fit together with no gaps. 

The Swamp Eggs

We read a book about a pukeko called Gwen.

She protected her eggs ( and chicks) from 3 different predators.
Some of us made nests with 6 eggs in them.
